Nov 15, 2017

CarTrawler’s staff darned their handbags and glad rags in celebration of the 80s & 90s, to support and raise funds for DEBRA Ireland.

DEBRA is a charitable organisation that supports people suffering from EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa). EP is a painful, genetic disease that causes sufferers’ skin to blister and ulcerate inside and outside the body.

CarTrawler staff arrived to Ryan’s of Windy Arbour in their droves to support the worthy charity, decked out in their best 80s and 90s attire. The venue was festooned with boom-boxes and disco lights to commemorate these iconic decades.

Costumes included Top Gun’s Goose and Maverick, Back to the Future’s Marty McFly, Where’s Wally, The Spice Girls, Marge Simpson and a band of Madonna’s.

CarTrawler staff banded together and managed to raise a substantial €1,191.50 for the charity.
