The Senior Sales Engineer will facilitate technical discussions and present our products and technology to potential new partners. This role involves maintaining in-depth knowledge of our products, technology, and overall proposition, as well as supporting new partnership acquisition where technical expertise is necessary.
An essential aspect of this position is the ability to convey technical information in a manner understandable to non-technical stakeholders. In this customer-facing role, you will collaborate closely with our Commercial Deal Team (Business Development, Commercial Enablement & Commercial Strategy), as well as Technology and Product Teams. Your responsibilities will include translating technical concepts into operational realities through clear documentation and presentations. Additionally, you will translate commercial requirements and prospect needs into products and features that can be developed and delivered by our product and technology teams.

- Lead technical discussions with strategic prospects, positioning the CarTrawler Connect Platform as the market leader through live demonstrations and design prototypes.
- Develop technology-focused presentations to explain CarTrawler’s products and platform to prospective partners.
- Possess a deep understanding of the CarTrawler product and technology proposition and identify optimal integration opportunities for prospects.
- Conduct comprehensive technology audits for prospects and evaluate competitor products.
- Strong technical background with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a Sales Engineering or similar role.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbally, in writing, and in presentations) about technical topics with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive internal change by presenting well-researched data and solutions, particularly regarding partner integrations and roadmap additions.
- Analytical skills to assess situations, diagnose problems, identify key issues, and propose logical, practical solutions for all stakeholders.
