CarTrawler Adds Car Rental Industry Veteran Fabrizio Ruggiero to its Board

Ruggiero brings decades of car rental experience to company defining next wave of B2B car rental and mobility solutions

3rd November 2021, Dublin, Ireland: CarTrawler, the global B2B provider of technology solutions for the travel industry, today announced the appointment of  Fabrizio Ruggiero, CEO of Edenred Italia and former deputy CEO of the Europcar Group, to the company’s Board of Directors as a non-executive director. Ruggiero’s 15 years’ experience in the car rental and wider mobility industry complements a deep bench of executives that sit on the board and will help guide CarTrawler into the next phase of its growth.

Ruggiero joins an all-star cast of travel, technology, and mobility executives who sit on the CarTrawler board, including former IAG CEO and now Director General of IATA Willie Walsh; Laura Merling, Chief Transformation and Operations Officer at Arvest Bank; JetBlue co-founder David Barger; and McKinsey investor and private equity practice leader Conor Kehoe.

This is an ideal time for someone as passionate and experienced as Fabrizio to join our board. Fabrizio has driven successful results throughout his career and his wealth of insight around e-commerce and customer engagement will be especially valuable in his role on CarTrawler’s board.
