Role Purpose:
As the Senior Brand Manager at CarTrawler, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the overall brand strategy for CarTrawler. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing effective brand campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels, and monitoring market trends to enhance the brand's positioning. The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for all CarTrawler’s corporate events & sponsorship.
The Team:
As the brand owners, the team works tirelessly to enhance the CarTrawler brand awareness to deliver on business objectives.The Marketing team plays a pivotal role within the CarTrawler business acting as central hub for cross-functional collaboration, actively promoting knowledge sharing and open communication between departments. The structure of the team allows for collaboration and shared ownership of the overall Marketing Strategy. We work as a high performing team and have fun while doing so.
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Main accountabilities and key tasks
- Brand Management: Serve as the primary custodian of the CarTrawler brand, maintain, and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring all internal and external communications reflect a unified and consistent brand voice and visual identity. Maintain and ensure brand cloudlines is kept up to date.
- Strategy and Development: Execute the execute the strategy ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives. Analyse market trends and consumer insights to adapt and refine brand plans accordingly.
- Campaign development: Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of integrated marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness and drive engagement. Work closely with PR & Communications manager to create omni-channel content calendar.
- Social Media Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media calendar, creating and scheduling content across LinkedIn to foster engagement, enhance brand presence and grow our online presence. Manage organic and paid campaigns depending on the specific marketing objectives.
- Event & Sponsorship Management: Develop the external events sponsorship strategy from planning to execution, managing all elements including branding, sponsorship packages, Networking/ CEO Dinners etc. Lead all planning for the annual CarTrawler conference ensuring to deliver a best-in-class event. Manage agencies & external vendors for all events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency in all external collateral. Ensure brand guidelines & resources are updated & communicated internally. Work closely with wider Marketing team to ensure a holistic omni-channel approach to all marketing efforts.
- Budget Management: Accountable for the effective management of the marketing budget, optimizing resources to achieve maximum impact and return on investment on all marketing activities.
- Performance Analytics: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of all brand initiatives, events and campaigns.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
- 6 years+ Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the technology or travel industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
