Role Purpose:  
Our Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in securing top talent who not only bring exceptional skills but also embody our unique culture.
In this role, you’ll act as a strategic partner to the business and hiring managers, gaining a deep understanding of CarTrawler’s current and future talent needs. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities to streamline processes, leveraging industry best practices, and boldly introducing innovative sourcing strategies to engage passive and hard-to-find candidates. Reporting to: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist 

Main Accountabilities and Key Tasks:

  •  Identify, attract, and engage hard-to-find passive talent through a range of sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, niche job boards, and social media platforms. 
  • Bring creativity and innovation to everything you do, whether it's designing scalable recruitment processes or launching initiatives that help us attract incredible, diverse talent. 
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and People Partners to prepare compelling job descriptions and ensure job postings are optimally placed across relevant platforms. 
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for all open roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer negotiation. 
  • Keep our Applicant Tracking System (Lever) fully updated and manage timely follow-up communication with candidates and stakeholders. 
  • Proactively build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive talent for future hiring needs. 
  • Seamlessly hand over successful candidates to the HR Operations Manager to initiate the onboarding process. 
  • Reduce reliance on external agencies by leveraging direct sourcing strategies that are both effective and cost-efficient. 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand their hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies that deliver results. 
  • Leverage cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights to continuously evolve and improve our Talent Acquisition practices. 
  • Act as a recruitment advisor to our people management community, championing hiring best practices and supporting capability building. 
  • Uphold and help evolve our recruitment policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent and high-quality candidate experience. 
  • Be an active ambassador for CarTrawler’s Employer Brand by representing us at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. 
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance our recruitment strategy and strengthen CarTrawler’s Employer Value Proposition. 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or recruitment role  
  • Highly proficient experience in sourcing, recruiting, and closing top talent 
  • Experience of in-house recruitment or agency recruiting experience mandatory  
  • 2+ years proficiency with Applicant tracking system experience (e.g. Lever) 
  • Experienced interviewer. 
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment. 
  • Ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple roles 
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
